Omega increased their prices for all four Speedy Pro models by $100 in the U.S.

That's a pretty small percentage increase, less than 2%. Seems hardly worthwhile, it's like looking for spare change in the sofa.

Woops that’s about 7%. Ain’t petty change at all. Limited editions will become less limited now.

Interestingly, goldsmiths in oxford weren’t showing the increased prices. Bracelet speedy still 3520???? Odd.

i hope not to confuse anybody, the price increase i mentioned was the Official price from Omega Homepage. I assumed it reflects the price from a country that i am located. i havent checked the prices from our local stores.

Eve, thanks. That masters them all. Obviously Omega boutiques will follow suit immediately and AD perhaps will delay introduction of new prices for the stock they have.

Yes, the gbp price is updated also. It’s just odd, as AD’s will generally increase same day. At the rate some models are selling, 2018 prices will be here for a while.....

No. That stayed at £3600.

I was speaking with my AD today who still had the speedy in the window at £3,520 and showed her the omega website showing the new price of £3,680. She is a knowledgable lady and claimed she had not been told and knew nothing about it. Her view was that they will probably raise the price at end of January

interesting that only the speedmaster professional increased for now...

unless a wider increase is planned for later this year.

Same result here in The Netherlands. That's quite some price increase.

Expensive marketing and the movie First Man have more to do with it. Either way, the customer is paying the bill.

My guess is extending the warranty out to 5 years has the most to do with it...

Good point! Could be as it’s the only Omega movement that is not produced by Omega (outsourced), as far as I know.

I can’t see any change for any of the Omegas that I have on the (official) website. Ditto for the few Inhave on my ‘wish list’ also. All but 1 are current models and so far as I can see the RRPs have not budged a penny. Maybe it is yet to come or only impacts a small number of models?

If their sales are down i can’t see a price hike helping to improve things!
