Best I can find is just more of the endless rehashing of the Tudor models issued to MN divers, with the only exception being that Les Rhabilleurs mentions that a Tudor MN watch could come in the fall.

Agree it's strange timing given the Yema release which has been in the cards for something like a month already

Ah, found a bit more. So the MN is licensing its brand, not just to Yema or Tudor but essentially to anyone and are creating a whole web shop. So maybe the Yema is the "official watch" but Tudor will be able to use the logo for their own watch.

That’s exciting. I just picked up a blackbay heritage black and it’s great. I can imagine this partnership could bring some keepers

Still think it’s a pump Tudor whilst backing off on SS Rolex to grow the Tudor brand.....

Hope they dont overdo it with the faux patina or weathered dials.

I doubt it will come to fruition but a 1:1 blue sub would be amazing. However, I would be just as happy with a thinner Pelagos, even if the case diameter remains unchanged.

Yeah, Omega has done alright, but the Railmaster was a missed opportunity. They nailed the SM300 and SMP (although put the crayons back in the box for the fauxtina- at least stick with the pale shades and avoid the “burnt” tones). At 38mm they lost plot on that one- a svelt 36mm would have been a home run.

@JwRosenthal , aren't the case sizes for the Railmaster CK2914 and the Railmaster Trilogy reissue both 38mm?

Seems like these images of the Yema MNs were released before the French press embargo was lifted- https://www.montres-de-luxe.com/Navigraf-Marine-Nationale-quand-Yema-devient-M-N_a16622.html

Google translated - In 2021, the Navygraf de Yema will therefore be dressed in the colors of the French Navy: this new watch features a matt blue dial and proudly displays the French Navy logo placed at 6 o'clock and the anchor of the braids embossed on the crown.

It is available in four versions: available in quartz (waterproof 200 meters) and automatic (39mm, waterproof to 300 meters), the model will also be offered with the GMT function in an edition limited to 1,000 pieces. The Navygraf Marine Nationale will also see the light of day in a 34mm version - 100 meters waterproof - to adapt to the female wrist. The timepieces are delivered in a collector's box and will be available for pre-order from May 6, 2021 on yema.com.

Note that by purchasing a Navygraf Marine Nationale, a donation is paid to the social works of the Navy. A percentage of the price of each watch is donated to the foundation.

They probably won't release a new model. Given what was done for the Harrods edition, we should expect something like a recolor. Anything more and it's likely we'll be disappointed.

A re-coloured pelagos would be my bet. Can’t see Rolex allowing a direct Submariner competitor for half the cost. Quite like the Yemas above but wished they’d kept the anchor detail to the case back.

No, there's no way Tudor is going to introduce a whole new model for this. My guess is a Pelagos as well, or maybe a Black Bay with square markers.

From Hodinkee: Tudor Announces New Partnership With French Navy

https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/tudor-announces-new-partnership-with-french-navy

Excerpt:

What we know so far about the partnership is mostly that it's been announced. Moving forward, Tudor will be working with the Marine Nationale, and I've been told that there will be more specific news coming later this year. What that could mean is really anyone's guess, but it will almost certainly involve dive watches and military diving teams (go on...). While I think it could be hard to build on the success of the fan-favorite, MN-inspired Black Bay Fifty-Eight Navy Blue, a direct collaboration with the MN could lead to a very cool new model. Maybe something in the Pelagos family?

devastatingly meh.

they could have at least put a little time and effort into the dial. sadly they basically reused/repurposed the dial as well

i have to do hand it to yema. they do a good job of recycling parts from their other watches to save on costs...good for them bad for you.

i'm sure tudor will do a good job if their starting point is a 58

The IDGuy YouTube channel (really like their content on Industrial and Watch designs) has recently posted a video with some predictions on what the Tudor x MN upcoming collaboration could be.

On my side, as much as I would love a (blue) watch based on the BB58 WITH snowflake design, I must admit that using the Pelagos model would be a great way of moving into the 21st century (with logo on dial, similar to the Sommozzatori Rolex DeeSea model).

What about you guys? What would be your favorite prediction!?

Short of a new model (not going to happen so soon) I think a Blue Pelagos No Date would be the way to go. Tudor's best current tool watch, more technically advanced, and the spiritual successor to the Tudor Sub.

P.S. I have the Yema GMT MN on order (due to be shipped next few weeks), and unless they screw up the Tudor, will probably get that.

I have three vintage MN Tudors, two of which have serials in the Ledger. One at the shop, one restore for the fall, and a Square.

Sure - two are under restoration at the shop. But a 59 Square (adjacent serials in Ledger), 59 Eagle - in Ledger, MN76, in Ledger. Not all have been in the same room at the same time due to underway restoration ; ) . Also have some original MN casebacks.
