Hi all,

I was looking on the net for some info on some watches I inherited from my grandmother.....who passed away in 1997.

The watches have been lying in a box for nearly two decades. I have/had no idea where to start looking and came across this forum as well as the Omega watches database.

I read several threads and the knowledge here is fabulous......I suppose that my watches are well known to some of you, but I have no clue 😵‍💫

So, please help me out.

I tried to get some pictures, but the watches are quite small and the camera not that good....

Except that they are ladies' watches I can not tell anything more with that picture.
Try to use macro mode in your camera (flower symbol). Even better if you could open the case back and take picture of inside script.

And finally, the watch on the right (with leather bracelet, in dark red)

I may have overlooked on the Omega database, but found no exact reference.

The watch is in gold also, and on the plate it states :

"Omega"
"Quartz"

"De Ville"

and there is no manual winding.....but you have to tick it with a pencel or something ?? (you can tell I'm a pro, not ? 😁)

Many thanks for shedding some light in the darkness !!

grtz

Is there an 'easy' way of opening the case ? Or better go to the jewelery store and let them open it for me ?

Yes any watchmaker or jeweler would be able to help you. Don't forget to bring decent camera (modern smartphone camera is decent, if you know how to use it).
You have tinker with Omega Vintage Database, that's as good as you get for these type of watches. Bear in mind OVD is not complete and Omega has many more dial/ bracelet/ case variation compare to OVD.

They're watches? I couldn't tell them from tiddlywinks with those photos. You aren't doing them 'justus' with those low quality pictures. ::rimshot::
