I didn't know about the Apollo Soyuz mission until I heard about it from Gen. Stafford at an Omega event

Although I had barely graduated from High School when the Apollo-Soyuz Test Program reached its culmination (with the flight itself) in July 1975, it was a big deal even to my young, distracted mind. It is difficult to describe how acrimonious the relationship was between the United States and the Soviet Union at that time. It's also mind-boggling, looking back, to imagine such bitter enemies cooperating to the point of joining two spacecraft in Earth orbit, purely as a diplomatic gesture. Obviously, it was that spaceflight that laid the groundwork for the present-day International Space Station. I figure if we were able to cooperate with adversaries with a relationship as rotten as it was in 1975, getting along with the Russians today on the ISS should be a relative cakewalk. And I certainly hope our relationship with Russia never reverts to the way it was during the darkest days of the Cold War.

Wow. Just wow. I missed out on this one at Topper, too. 🙁 It's still listed on their website, taunting me.

There are a couple on eBay.

I'm about to pull the trigger, but one is "new" with a stamped warranty card dated June 2016, but without the Limited Edition card, and without the original box. (Pictograms + Warranty card included)

The other, from the same seller (they seem to have a decent rep on eBay), is used, with no box, nothing. But does come with all three cards.

Should I run as far away as possible from them? Or should I snag one? The missing items give me pause, I don't quite understand why someone would misplace them -- but maybe I'm just projecting myself onto others (I'd never ever ever misplace them, nor would I ever think of selling a collectible watch without the slate of items included at purchase).

Can't tell you if the watches you've found are legitimate but when I bought my Meteorite from a proper shop , who had just lost their Omega status due to new Boutique opening. They had misplaced the original box, certificate however did have the correct cards. Got a decent deal at the time.
Hence if I had decided to move it on , it would have been lacking those items. I did however manage to purchase a replacement box and certificate via Swatch UK , who were very helpful at the time.

Do a lot of homework first !!!

They had one in the omega boutique in Stratford, London when I was there a couple of weeks ago

That's super helpful to know that I can purchase replacements from Omega directly.

Any suggestions on what more homework to do? I suppose I can reach out to Omega to confirm the serial #'s correspond to the limited edition #'s as the eBay listing photos include both.

Anything else?

Not sure I have real tips but as the old adage goes - buy the seller . Ask a few questions and see if things make sense. To be honest another thread has highlighted the dangers of possible fake Meteorites being sold, so personally I'd put a WTB post on this forum and see what the members can offer. I'd feel much safer buying from here than off Ebay

That dial is indeed out of this world! A friend had one with the case signed by 3 of the 4 original crew memebers, but sold it to buy a BLNR

@repoman well done. I was looking for an update at your original posting about the ASF event. Now all you need to do is make a trip over here and add Leonov to finish it off.

I look forward to it. My contact that handled my Leonov piece is working on another cosmonaut for me and I will ask if he could facilitate getting Leonov done for you if you are interested. I could be your go between if it's possible to be done before I return to the states next August.
