I’ve had the Omega Speedmaster Apollo 11 50th anniversary Moonshine Gold limited edition watch, in my collection for a little more than one year. It’s time to share some takeaways now the dust has settled. Last year in March, right before Baselworld (when that was still a thing), I was invited to Biel. I was […]

God, I thought I was off watches for a while but this has got me doing man maths again. Got to say, I’m very pleased with the steel and gold but this would be another level.

Great article!! It is an awesome piece... unfortunately I don’t use it like you do... and most of the times, with straps

I'm loving mine. It is going to be worn on special occasions only for the moment. But it is 100% a keeper. Love it.

I need to collect mine once the quarantine is over. I have mixed feelings about it though. I am not sure I am going to like it. It seem to look good on leather. The piece of lunar meteorite gets my attention however.

Hi,

I love how the bracelet is starting to show some wearing.
The 'dirt' in the gaps brings a higher visibility of the different parts 😀

I chose to leave it in the shop and go for another watch instead.
The next person on the waiting list will be happy to get it

Great read. There is no way the math adds up for me, so this watch is not even on my wish list. If I have a sudden windfall, the Moonshine is top of my list for dream splurges.

Decided to try it on a strap today.

Think it looks good. Might also try it on the burgundy nato.

The bracelet is pure class and love it. Was just playing around to see how a leather strap would look.

I have to say I adore mine, but in the 18 months I've had it I haven't really worn it as I just like to stare at the back!! I would love to hunt down a BA145.022 original to compare side by side though. I do love the idea of my kids remembering me wearing a particular watch but I'm too fickle to keep to one.

I absolutely love this Speedmaster. The weight on the wrist is absolutely perfect in my opinion.
I can’t imagine not having it in my life.

The gold edition is way out of my price range, but it's gorgeous. I don't care for the steel version, though. (my wallet is happy about that part!)
