I found Glass Onion funny but not even close to Knives out as a movie. I think it just get's a little too jumbled up for no reason.

I did notice the watch and, in the movie, it looks stunning. At a point I thought it was a Patek on a broader shot before it becomes more present.
Yeah I got the same from it when watching it last night, it’s a little disappointing when compared to Knives Out but it’s still worth a watch in its own right, no pun intended

Speaking of Knives Out, I wish there were close up shots of the watch he wore just to be sure what exact vintage model he wore in that one. Could possibly be one of the vintage Deville watches..

My understanding is that Craig does have a fairly decent vintage collection. The vintage De Ville and the Royal Navy Seamaster 300 are all part of his personal collection. He wanted to be involved in the design process for the NTTD, and that's why it's so heavily vintage-inspired. Just because he wore Rolex before, doesn't mean that he doesn't have a genuine passion for Omega. I prefer Omega watches, but I still own examples from other brands. And if I had the opportunity to design a watch from one of the brands in my collection, I know I'd personally be way more passionate toward that brand.

Omega will probably post a “Spotted” on Instagram with Daniel Craig wearing it. I think it is funny how they almost make it breaking news when people they pay for wearing their watches actually wears them in public 🙄

I'll have to wear mine when I watch it. (Of course, I have to watch Knives Out first.)
Stunning

Doubt it. They would've done it by now but probably they aren't publicising it because it's a 4 year old model and one which isn't widely available anymore at the boutiques because of it's limited quantities of only 1,948 pieces.

You should. It's better than the sequel!

Not going to lie it was kind of funny seeing his watch in Glass Onion, the whole time I’m thinking his relationship with them must be incredibly deep! LOL .

Why incredibly deep? it's just a character wearing a watch. It may be a choice, it may be contractual...but deep?

As far as I know his contract to be Bond is over. He completed the films required and didn't sign for any more.

Yes, actors can have Public Relations obligations after a film is release but that film has been out for a long time now I can't image he has any current contract with Eon Productions in place.

He's done events for EON for the Bond 60th anniversary in 2022--well after No Time to Die came out. I'm sure he has a promotional contract that extends beyond what he gets paid for acting in the movies.

Much, much better than the sequel

Much better. Glass Onion was a mess. Fractured, derivative and knowing -- not in a good way.

The Omega was definitely a standout in its role. Though as the proud owner of an adjacent Seamaster DV handed onto me years ago I was still more partial to the Knives Out timepiece...

I went to the What's Daniel Wearing instagram account and found this photo of Craig at an event last year. He's clearly wearing a blue dial Aqua Terra, but I'm curious as to opinions as to whether you think this is the 38.5mm Skyfall watch or the 41.5mm Spectre Aqua Terra? The date is clearly at the 3 o'clock so it's not the current generation of AT.

My guess is that it's the 38.5mm Skyfall since it seems smaller on his wrist than 41.5 and I think you can see the silver date frame (which was not present on the Spectre era AT).

Looks more like a white datewheel. And the overall shape and thickness of the case, it looks like it's the first generation blue AT which has the white datewheel and sunburst dial. The 8500 AT is pretty thick compared to the first generation ones that used the 2500 calibre.

Most likely it's the 2503.80. I remember Craig was seen wearing it during a press conference for Skyfall back in 2011. Nice to see him wearing it again.

Interesting. Not for second did I think it might be a first gen AT. I have the 36.2mm variant in blue. A lovely watch, but it doesn't get enough wrist time.

A different and an actual vintage piece he wore in the first movie. I remembered posting about it asking for help in identifying it when the movie was first released. Assumed to be a vintage 34mm Seamaster Deville with date but unlike the sequel, there were no close up shots of it.

Love that watch. Always loved that coat as well. Kept waiting for a commercial version to become available but I was told it was a one off, made for him by the costume department. Great film, too.
