To be clear: this minute hand jumping is happening in the first position of the crown and not when stowed all the way in, right? My standard reference Speedy behaves this way and it is normal. But if you're able to move the minute hand etc without pulling the crown to first position, you have a problem.

Hi,

In position one, nothing move 😀
Just in position 2 it has that little kinda of play? if that makes sense. But only when moving it forward or backward, basically you start moving and for just a small move it does that, once the mechanics engage then it starts moving perfectly fine.

Sorry if I am explaining it wrong, again first automatic watch jahahha

I would say it's behaving fine.

Have you operated the Chrono and such?

Put your ear to it while winding and see if anything sounds a bit off.

Of course you could always take it to a reputable shop to have a watchmaker give it a good look. Since you've indicated that you've never owned an automatic watch, it may behoove you to do so if for no other reason than to learn from the knowledge of people that make a living maintaining this sort of piece.

That aside, it's nice looking and I hope you enjoy it well. Don't hide it away, wear it!!

Hi,

Thank you very much! No noise at all 😀 but I agree that is better if someone with more knowledge look at it.

Again, thank you

Ok guys,

Here are the pics, I havent removed the stickers yet till i am sure the watch works and keeps the time fine.

The watch for me does not looks fake but there is something I noticed that would like some info. The watch SN match the card, the sn on the body of the watch but on the band itself, in the inside of the black band, there is another number and that one does not match, not sure if it is supposed to match or not lol.

Side note: Dont mind the red bed sheets lol! Is my GF’s room. Hahahahahha

Pics below.

It all looks legit to me. The band number will not be on the tag or cards. But the model number is specific to one with that band.

By the way, I sleep on Snoopy sheets sometimes. No shame. No apologies.

But at least she's aware of your purchase...right? Haha

Hahaha!

Actually she was the one who told me to buy it lol!

I am sport guy and I wanted a sport like watch but also luxury that I could use all day, and sometimes on my road bike and so on.

So I purchased the following:

Garmin Forerunner 945 - returned it because it has a bunch of glitches

Garmin MARQ expedition: The screen stopped working after 5 days, also went back to the store

Garmin MARQ Athlete: Battery was not lasting more than 5 days, just using it to see the time. Garmin support asked me to go back to store and get another one lol!

Got another one and same issue.

Then called garmin again and was told they were aware and they are working on a “fix” i got fed up and returned it. A 1500 Luxury Garmin Watch should bot have those issues.

Then my GF was like man just F buy a Rolex lmao, u are going nuts with Garmin .

But I do not like rolex, so i started googling it and saw the speedmaster fall for it as soon i saw it! Looks classy and sporty, what else can I ask for 😀

And that is how I am now the new owner of an Omega.

The number on the black strap is the part number for the strap, in case you need to order another one if the original wears out, etc.

Nice watch, welcome aboard 👍

Nothing to worry about, you just are not applying enough force to move the minute hand completely, so it just goes back to its original setting. This is your gateway to an expensive hobby! Congrats and wear it in good health.

Hi,

I am reading the manual and it mentions that the watch might get magnetized and I was wondering what is your opinion on that? any inputs yuo guys could give me on how to avoid it?

Manual just says, speakers and electronics but what kind of electronics? computers? the keyboard of a computer? or anything I should pay attention too?

Thank you guys!
