Hello fellow omega fans, my first post here so I hope I’m not breaking any rules I was invited to an Omega AD event in Paris (good champagne!) where they had 50th anniversary Buzzbum and gold models (both serial number zero so it seems quite a lot of #0 pieces were manufactured for press, events etc ... one can’t help wondering where they’ll end up) ... I asked if they had any news on a new steel 321 or a waiting list for it. They said not but, very discretely, they put me on the waiting list for the new Snoopy they seem very confident will be announced soon. No details on it though.
Lots of discussion on this very topic. Here is a link to one of the threads: https://omegaforums.net/threads/apollo-13th-50th-anniversary-deposits.95776/page-4#post-1363868 Lots of rumours...nothing official.
Don't think they're putting out another Snoopy for next year....at least that's what I heard from two OBs
I have not heard anything about the Snoopy but the manager of my OB asked me if I was interested in the 321 so she could add me to their list.
It would take a quite a few glasses of champagne for the Buzzbum to look good. Speedmaster most horrid for me.
Everything you have heard to date about a limited edition Apollo 13 Snoop being released next year is based on speculation and opinion. Now we all know that Omega never passes up an opportunity to release a limited edition watch or two or three every year, so it's a safe bet that there will be a limited edition 50th anniversary Apollo 13 released in 2020 and it will be a Speedy. So for those wishing for a Snoopy will just have to hope, pray and wait. I for one do not think Omega can top the last Snoopy to be released. It is and will remain the most endearing of the bunch. Yes, I say this without knowing what the next version of the Snoopy may look like, but I say it knowing that the next version of something is not always the better of the many. Good luck to all wishing for a Snoopy. I hope you one arrives and it lives up to your expectations.
I have it on good authority that the Apollo 13 50th Anniversary Moonwatch will prominently feature Snoopy's butt. You heard it here first.
