Honestly, the new style looks great on any Speedy. Glad you like yours, and it does look good 👍 I’ve had both the brushed and polished and like them both.

Nice, I think the brushed version looks better on yours… but with the polished indices, I decided to go with the polished one to match up better

Fantastic. IMHO the Tokyo Panda is just beginning to get the recognition it deserves. Beautiful piece.

A watch with a Mitsukoshi, Apollo 11 35th, or Tokyo 2020 dial is a great look. Omega has only made 5,820 official watches with this panda style dial (300 + 3500 + 2020), plus there is an unknown number of modded watches with this dial, but the total number is a drop in the bucket in relation to the number of the standard black dial Speedmasters churned out since 2003. Even the new white dial version wiil quickly eclipse the total number of panda dial watches out there.

I started wearing my modded Apollo 11 on a Snoopy 45th strap, then changed to a 3861 all brushed bracelet. Both good choices, but I might change back to the strap.

What a coincidence! Like you, @Will733 , I didn't like the OEM bracelet that came with my Tokyo Panda much. I went a different route though and put it on an Omega rubber strap. Works great too!

Have to agree with @chiefenergy as well; this is still an under appreciated watch. Next to the new white dial Speedmaster, it still ranks highly, in my entirely unbiased opinion, that is! 😁

There are even some aftermarket bracelets that look great on the Panda.

That new style bracelet looks fantastic w/ the panda/Tokyo dial. I just picked up the same bracelet for my Apollo x Soyuz Speedy and the fitment is so much better. The big chunky, non-tapered, bracelet that was originally fitted those to 1861 cal Speedies isn't great.

Good info!
I thought I had read the new bracelet didn’t fit well with the previous 1861 case. Lug hole placement was different etc. I was a fan of the new bracelet when I had the 3861 for a bit so good to know it is an option.

Nice, I bet that one looks great on it too

Fits fine on my late 2019 Speedmaster, no issues.

Aludic where did you get the rubber strap for the Tokyo Panda? This looks like the same strap on the new white face Speedmaster

It is the same one. Available from your AD or OB. The OB at Oxford Street in London had it in stock. It’s a bit pricey, but highly recommended!

I have been wanting to put the new bracelet on my Tin Tin for a while now. Did you have to do any modification to get it to fit or did it just pop right on? It looks absolutely perfect!

You should definitely do it 😀 I love this bracelet as it’s super comfortable and has a nice weight to it. And no modification at all just popped it right on 👍

The case of the Speed 3861 is different from that of the 1861. Consequently, the new bracelet can be mounted on the old one but it does not match perfectly because the ends are slightly shorter.
On the Snoopy which has the 3861 case, however, the endings match perfectly.
