Hi members, good day.
Any one of you tried fitting on the 1125 bracelet on a Speedmaster Trilogy before?
Which endlinks to use - 617 or 560?
Which fits and install better?

Thanks heaps for advice

I did it with 617s. It worked but they are a little shorter than the lugs. To be honest the std bracelet looks better, the 1125 is a rattley old thing like the 1171. Will try to find a pic.

I also did the opposite and just as an experiment fitted the trilogy bracelet to an Ed White. Which worked but looked a bit weird.

Thanks Padders!
Thinking of the switch coz I want to keep the std bracelet in prestine condition. Lol.
But seeing that what you have done looks great, but I Guess the down side will be the bracelet having to scratch or worse case might damage the lugs of the case due to 617 endlinks being shorter.
Any idea sir, what’s the difference between the 560 & 617?

Thanks

I actually think these will look really good when they have a few scars - the metal will match the aged look of the dial/lume.

Not tried the 560s myself but it is a popular FOIS fit so maybe look at the thread about bracelets for the FOIS and that may help you decide. I was of the opinion based on reading that the 617s are easier to fit, no filing needed, but looking at the above suggests they may possibly be shorter than the 560s so not ideal. I am not certain. You may get better results with a brand new 1125. Mine is from the ‘70s and has a bit of stretch, not sure of the age of the links which I purchased separately on here.

What you have done on your trilogy, I must say it’s looking really good ☺️
