I called in to the local Boutique this morning to put my name down in person.

No additional information at present regarding numbers but expected around March.

Given the fact that it has an analogical complication on the caseback I'd assume yes - it will be LIIIIIMITED production.

As far as Omega were saying yesterday it is neither a limited edition nor will it be limited production. However, production won’t be quick as the “animation” has to be lined up perfectly otherwise it doesn’t have the intended effect.
However, similar to other anniversary editions, when a new anniversary arrives I am guessing it would/should supersede previous ones. But this last bit is only my opinion for what it’s worth

^^^ I don’t really care for it. I like the NTTD Bond watch better due to its dial design, lume color, and case material.

I passed Regent street this morning so decided to stop and have a quick look at it.
Are they allowing people to try it on?

Nah same here. The blue color seems nice and the re-design of the dial as well. Still doesn’t hit the spot for me.

I do like it but it’s not ground breaking. I think the model Scarecrow Boat posted a couple pages back looks soooo much better.

No, the caseback twirly thing on this and the Snoopy are too SWATCH-Watchesque for me.

Yes, I just said it 😲

The caseback is truly awful. I don’t understand the point in having this on clear sapphire? You can’t really see the movement and the animation doesn’t really pop. A pointless mishmash in the middle.

It's very nice, but I'm not overwhelmed by it. The caseback animation is super cool, but I wonder if it's more gimmick than a must have for me.

The NTTD was much more ground breaking IMHO. Having a hard time justifying in my head if it's worth adding this one. I think I'd rather get a Brosnan original for far less money and have the real deal rather than a tribute.

If it had been a 60s era reissue, as @QBranch had hoped, I'd be way more enthusiastic about getting one.

Well done omega. Could rolex make a diver without the oyster and with luminous bezel?

I’m a huge fan. This would be my first Seamaster. I was tempted by the vintage Spectre and the NTTD but this one sends me to the OB. I’ve already given my deposit.

Great watch for my tastes. First Seamaster which talks to me.

Pros:
- fantastic blue hue
- lack of pip
- lollypop seconds' hand
- subtle waves
- animated caseback
- lume on bezel

Cons:
- size (40mm pls!)
- bracelet.

Got on the waiting list immediately.

Love the blue, very nice...

the inner-gun barrel swirl on the caseback, no so much.

Omega Designers Meeting~

"I am thinking about the classic Bond gun barrel swirl on a solid caseback."
"Well it is a beautiful movement, we should feature it with an exhibition caseback."
"Great point... let's go with sapphire so the movement can be viewed and cover it with the Bond gun barrel swirl too. That way you can sort of see the movement but we also get the swirl and we can upcharge for sapphire."
"Brilliant."

Of the recent production models, now there is a decent variety of choices for folks. No one model is going to make everybody happy; it never does.

Perhaps you don’t like the Milanese strap. You could go for the new green one which even comes in that cool rubber strap. Or you can go for one of the other standard current production models if you don’t like the band gimmick on the case back. Or if you don’t mind the Milanese strap you could go for the NTTD model. Or this new one if you don’t want to spend as much for the titanium model or you don’t like titanium.

You and me both. Maybe it is because I am of the Daniel Craig Bond generation, but the styling does not seem as spy-esque or utilitarian. Take it with a grain of salt.

I like new waves. These old waves on the dial are not as nice…
