I agree it's too much doing this for individual retrospective films but i'd love to see a Goldfinger gold one!

Wow!! I think they did a fantastic job. A 007 tribute watch without the ugly 007 branding. The rifling on the dial actually looks like a good design choice rather than a campy connection to the Bond films.

You know what would be cool?

A Goldfinger 60th anniversary Seamaster where the minute hand is a miniature exact gold replica of Goldfingers finger. That would blow my mind and I would buy 10 at once as an investment

Maybe in this day and age, rifling shouldn't appear on a watch dial...just my .02.

Hey pal, this is a serious thread. Take that silly nonsense somewhere else 😁😁 There is a real chance Omega will actually use my idea!

Or, you know, just don't buy it like the rest of us. What's next, black dial = blackface?

Sorry but this is painful to even look at.. this tag is just hideous, the back, the dial, the 12 marker.. needs some serious effort to design everything so bad

Don’t you see as if all latest pieces (a part of Trilogy 60th and Tokyo 2020 Speedmasters) have a few common features? As if signed by the same designer. Engraved sapphire back, always golden elements etc ...

That is a bit silly. The rifling homage to the beginning of the Bond movies is about the least violent thing that happens in those films. Are we to ban the films as well? The dial should be banned for other reasons. It is hideous!

That watch face won’t find its way through times to come. Alas since Speedy 60th there is just one that deserves to be appreciated - Moonshine Apollo 11th! My 2 cents.

Okay, the Apollo 11 is now the underdog for the the award of best worst looking Omega LE in recent years.

Not to my taste at all. The number of James Bond LE's that have been issued for various reasons make the number of Speedmaster LE's look conservative.

This kind of marketing clearly works though.

Well that and it seems to have resulted in some very odd dial light reflections because of it.

Could have aligned the screws up, that's messing with my OCD !

You won't find that many places, even though I hear it mentioned often...

By the way... Wouldn't those screws by purely decorative in the first place? 😕
