I truly don’t understand: so Bond is wearing the watch and you’re interested; but if Bond and a woman are wearing it, now you’re uninterested?
to quote: “Oh man, I really wanted this watch, until i saw it on her”; then going on with all the other bit RE not being into women’s watches).
Your later explanations just don’t square up with your initial positions. (And all read pretty butt-hurt snowflakey...)
My initial position was I didn't like the watch because it lacks a date function. I couldn't care less who is wearing the watch, personally. I was commenting on the virtue signalling pointed out by the poster who didn't like the watch once he saw it on her. Seems like you're confused about who said what. Did you have too many of the the drinks I suggested? 😝😁

I miss-tagged.
But your regurgitating quips like “virtue signaling” and “SJW” does still make you sound a wee bit butt-hurt snowflake, IMO.
No, you tagged me when I questioned the person who said the woman wearing the watch didn't fit with the image that Omega should portray. I then asked basically how a British intelligence officer wearing a British inspired watch doesn't fit with the image. Then you went all butthurt snowflake on my post.
If you don't like the watch because of the faux patina, no date window, or aluminum bezel then most people understand that.
That's the best photo colour wise I've seen. The rest all look too orangey or brown on the lume. I have the Seamaster 300 MC with the faux patina lume. I'll have to see it and try it on and then be nice to the wife! They really should include a bar tool and a NATO since they're marketing it on both the titanium bracelet and a NATO. The travel roll looks good though more useful than a box. Interested in the weight too. Never wore a ti watch before. G
Exactly. Well clearly Omega is milking it at the moment so they decided to sell the watch as two different, separate pieces.
Same watch, option to get it on the bracelet or a NATO strap for $1,100 less.
All watches are sold this way
Unless they're implying that since there are only 2 SKUs that you're unable to buy the strap separately if you buy the bracelet version?
As far as I know, the special- edition straps aren't offered separately.
J Jack77I made an enquiry with my local AD (Melbourne) in December relating to these options; they contacted Head Office and were advised that the NATO is exclusive to this model and cannot be purchased separately at this time, but it may be added to their NATO line at a later date. They further noted that the bracelet is likely to be available for separate purchase in the future.
