It's a beautiful piece and very well done in my opinion. I do think it is priced quite high, and as a SMP300 LE owner, I can't see the need for this one. Good luck to those that want one though...
Beautiful and a very tasteful dark shade yellow lume color. Love the fact that theres's nothing on the front that indicates its a 007 edition.
So it’s not a limited edition. Does that mean after the initial frenzy they should be available In non limited quantities.
Hope so. Blue Ti SM300 MC sells for $9k retail and is aroumd $4-5k secondary. Hope it falls to that level.
same, though the do we know the production numbers? this is a not a LE but even with 7000+ of the Spectre SM300s (MRSP was $7500), they're $9k now... ...though TBH I think I'd still rather have the Spectre than this one...
This is 9k partially because it’s titanium... Also, only $8k on NATO. Only Q is, is that bracelet worth a thousand bucks? I’m not big on Milanese but it could be pretty cool
The dial colour and bezel combo is well balanced and the domed crystal is cool, as others have mentioned. Disregarding pricing, this still not for me due to the larger He valve introduced in the new SM300 wave dial divers. To be honest I am also happy with my SM300MC, which I believe is closer to the original Royal Navy 165.024 design than this Bond pseudo military issue version. I think US$7K-$7.5K would have been the ideal sweet spot for this new Bond watch (with the mesh bracelet option). It will be interesting to see how it performs on the secondary/grey market.
Wasn't the Specter a limited edition? It doesn’t appear that this watch will have a quantified production run. Plus the SM 300 has both a limited Specter model and a regular one. if this watch becomes part of the SM300M run, it should stick around and be online for a discount
Good luck to those who are going to track this 007 watch down, I won't be standing in your way, I'm afraid that it doesn't appeal to me at all, hope that this doesn't offend anyone
The more time I look at this the more I’m starting to think that £7390 for a ti watch isn’t THAT over the top.
I feel Omega is reaching quite a bit with an MSRP of just over $9000 USD. I don't see anything in this watch other then it's a Bond watch to rate the ask. Omega should have been priced down around $7000 and even then it might be a hard sell. I don't see these selling out before delivery and would expect to see a hefty price down on the pre-owned market.
If you are curious what does a caseback say - Fratello expained it; "The numbers on the case back which follow the format for genuine military- issue watches. “0552” is the code-number specified for Navy personnel, with “923 7697” being the number for a divers’ watch. The letter “A” is a code used to signify a watch with a screw-in crown, while “007” is James Bond’s iconic agent number. Finally, the number “62” is the year of the very first James Bond film." https://www.fratellowatches.com/hands-on-with-the-new-omega-seamaster-300m-bond-with-live-pictures/
I am not a fan of Bond franchise, but like this watch a lot. And it is good to see titanium back to Diver 300m models, perhaps sooner or later we can have a regular non-Bond titanium version of 300m.
