New Bond Omega?

I want Bond to wear a nice factory Omega, like he would if he were an actual government agent and had to buy stuff on his own dime (though I suppose at this point his watch is usually Q branch device). I dont want "007" printed all over it, I just want my stock omega to be the on screen bond omega!

This is why the 2531.80 is so nice. I wish they would just put the new SMPc in the movies and be done with it.

According to another thread I can't find right now, it's likely a new 007 edition will be unveiled on May 15. Personally I think the release of a Bond-but-not-Bond-25 related watch this year would be too close to the opening of the new movie in April 2020 (with the likely release of an actual Bond 25 watch). Then again, there's apparently no such thing as too frequent with Omega LEs.

This is just my opinion but I think Omega would sell more "bond" watches if they stopped making them limited edition. I know I started looking at Omega after seeing the watch on a bond movie, but it was limited edition, over priced and more difficult to find. I never bought it.

My understanding from my OB was they are indeed releasing a 007 edition, but it is not coinciding with a 007 movie since one is not being released this year. It will celebrate the whole 007 franchise. I'm not sure what that will look like though...but my guess will be a 300m Diver variation of some kind...
