Hello!

And hi to anyone who remembered my short lived posting frenzy a couple years back, and also apologies to anyone who I drove up the wall with my never ending questions!

Cut a long story short, I never fell out of love with watches, yet I came to the conclusion getting a luxury vintage piece back 2 years ago, wouldn’t of been wise, hence my post now. It was my 21st birthday last week, and I was gifted something I’ve loved for many years.

As some of you may or may not remember, my grail watch is the 2531.80 SMP, which I’ll still be getting one day. I’m over the moon with my 2017 212.30.41.20.01.003 from just a couple of weeks wearing it I can tell my expectations have been excelled even more than expected.

Choosing the black over the blue, as I felt it would age a bit better, I also felt it would go with more styles, and wear better on a daily basis. One massive addition I hadn’t even thought of before purchasing was the way the watch catches the light, the ceramic face has the deepest black, which reflects light beautifully.

Anyway, that’s enough of my raving about this watch, I thought I owe it to the heaps of advice and knowledge available on the forum that led me to now owning this piece, something I will own for years and pass down to generations.

Thank you.

It was a toss up between the two! After loving the original 2531.80 I felt compelled to get it, but I went with the black for my own reasons, they’re both absolutely gorgeous!
