Strange to see that Berlin is missing in the NAAFI-List. There was the so called Summit-House on Pommernallee 1 in Berlin where the NAAFI Club and shops where located, but maybe only until around 1959, not sure.

One currently on ebay..
Woah, cool! Military AND Speedy? $pendy
Well...first of all, I'd like to say that NAAFI is something very cool to have on an Extract - certainly cooler than simply "Germany" or any other country. I enjoy provenance, and the more information on an Extract the better. On a good watch like the ones shared by @Tri-national-man and @gemini4 and @mr_yossarian I'm sure it enhances the value for some.

But... I personally don't see this as quite near the level as military issued. More like military-adjacent. And that's ok! Honestly.

I do take issue however with the eBay seller (link) starting his description like this: [sic] Im selling my military Vintage Omega Speedmaster 145012-67 For British Military NAAFI Box Paper

I think he's overselling the significance of the connection by calling it a military watch, akin to a Mil-Spec Seamaster 300 or something. This is a standard Speedy that happened to be sold (alongside clothing, cigarettes, and salad creme) at NAAFI. Again cool provenance, but I don't know if it is intrinsically more $pendy than if the Extract simply said Germany. Especially given the condition issues that one from eBay has.

for some dress watch balance
Full set 'Military Connie' - dogleg instead of dog tag... 😉
RAF Chief Technician Snow -even kept the hang tag and cleaning cloth - got to love those organised military types
No idea which NAAFI though - one of our Australian brethren suggested somewhere like Singapore or Hong Kong (because of the price)

No not really, its just a shop, like the US PX. The only thing Military about it is the customers May be serving squaddies (or their families).

yep that's a strange one, its newer than the mid 70's because Belize is on there. But Hong Kong, Ulster and two places where I chomped on a few NAAFI Growlers (pies!) Nienburg/Weser and Osnatraz (Osnabruck) are missing!

And I am well surprised that both of these are missing, Nienburg/Weser was 'occupied' by the Brits since 1945. Not sure about the Traz but it was a big Garrison Town, even when I was there in the '90's. Infantry Regiments, Artillery Regiment, Panzer Regiment. Workshops Regiment, 2 x Engineer Regiments, RAMC Field Ambulance, RMP detachment and all the other assorted odds & sods & hangers on!

The guy is dreaming big style, 16K just because it came from one shop which was in or attached to a Military Base.. whoopsie doo,...mind you there may be some idiot out there who thinks that is worth a massive hike on the price of an unremarkable '67 Speedy

I tell you what...... I have a '68 Speedy and I stood many a time in a NAAFI queue....many a time indeed.... do you think I can ask around 12K for mine?

Or how about the Baby Arnie Seiko that I bought in the NAAFI at Chattenden.. got to be worth at least 4K n'est pas?
