Pshaw. You are probably right but I'm not going to go through the same painstaking effort to verify. Nice collection nonetheless.

Nice collection. I'm curious how did the show and tell go over with the staff? Where they genuinely interested in it?

Surprisingly, yes. Wasn't sure if they were really Omega fans so just retail sales staff plugging along in their job. All three asked numerous questions about most of the watches. Lots of photos taken and comments on the condition. They would consult AJTT for each model. They seemed to really appreciate that I took the time to pack them up and bring them over there. I was there for about 2 hours. Next up will be all the vintage Seamasters and Connies.

The absurd variety of Speedmaster's available really works when you see a collection like this. Great stuff!

Can't imagine what this will look like in another 25-50-100 years!

Also, will the Apollo XVII get any love - ever?

I have the "standard" Last Man on the Moon. Left side photo 2. Unlike many of our members I still like the LE. Can't tell the time with it but I think it's pretty cool looking. I see them in the ADs in France and Italy all the time. Will be in Paris in a couple of weeks and just might pull the trigger.

Wow!

Just stumbled across this thread and your collection is amazing!

Kudos to your, sir

I reckon the forum should come up with an "Honorary Maddox Award" to be passed around to those with the most impressive collection of speeds

I'd vote that you get to start.

@Jones in LA , the last time I was double dog dared I ended up a bell-sat diver in the North Sea. Almost bought the 40th in Milan last April. Ended up buying the Moon to Mars. Going to Paris in a couple of weeks and if I find one at the right price..........what the hell.
