·Hello, all members in this forums.
I want to share another one in my collection.
It was all steel, Omega ref.14762 SC 61 with serial no. 19,647,xxx (production around 1962).
Case: All steel, 34 mm (excluding crown), beefy lug, not over-polished (in my view)
Dial: Vertical groove dial’s pattern without minute markers. The font looks original. Dial has some spots with elongated hour indexes.
Movement: Omega Calibre 562 which correct and clean
Caseback: Screw caseback with Seamaster logo (small horse)
Crown: Thin scallop crown was original too
Strap: BOR bracelet (11 endlinks) was nice, original and correct
In my opinion, this dial was factory made by Omega.
It was not easy to repaint this dial.
I believe this uncommon dial doesn’t get the minute markers because it will obscure it beauty or maybe we can’t see it clearly (as in my linen dial too).
About this one, I have not seen this exact dial’s design before so I named it as “Corrugated Dial“.
Finally, my wrist shot:
Duo of mine (without minute markers)
Thanks for many of omegaforum’s members who always discuss and enlighten me.
If anyone got this dial’s design like these please share. Also if anyone want to name it , please help me too.
Thanks for all comments and opinions.
