My new Snoopy on a 57 bracelet

Thank you, it's no Snoopy but I'm super happy with the look.

Sorry to hear about the forstner end links not fitting. I'm considering "fixing" the A11 endlinks...

@s2000_driver s2k, I'm assuming the "little lip" is the protruding Edge along the bottom of the end link, that would push against the case and has two little nubs?
So I reached out to Forstner to tell them of the issue I had. Customer service was great and they sent me two more pairs of end links, one a post 2021 and one a pre 2021. I tried the post 2021 again today and it fit perfectly. Not sure what the issue was with the originals but I'm sending them back. Very happy with how it turned out and I'll include photos below.

Yes, can definitely see a difference in fit that's interesting. Glad you got it resolved!

Loving this thing so much! Thanks to the folks who posted so much info about putting it in a bracelet. I love it with the 57 bracelet!
Late to this party but what exactly is wrong with the end links? It looks great to me, and I had the OB order the 57 for my new Snoopy.

Brilliant, glad to see I'm not the only one that prefers this bracelet for the Silver Snoopy.

Is that a 57 or something else? Looks fantastic, and definitely different than the 3861 bracelets.

That's a 57 bracelet, look at how the end links protrude from the case lugs.
The lug-to-lug on the 57 is 49.6mm vs the 3861s 47.5mm.

EDIT: wording isn't super clear here but as best as I can tell, the lugs are a total of ~1.3mm longer on the '57 than they are on the Speedy, about 0.65mm on each side. so, the end links are fatter by that much, hence the visible protrusion when this bracelet is fitted onto a 3861 case.

I'll grab the part code and post it tonight when I get home. It was a gift from my son for Xmas to match my Snoopy. He purchased it from the local OB. I preferred the flat bracelet and agree it looks much better than the other bracelet normally posted with the Snoopy.

You can also get the Forstner end links, will provide a “better” fit / end links of the bracelet would not extend over the watch lug ends

Thanks for the clarification. I myself don’t have a problem with how steerpike999’s looks. If I get the 57 bracelet I can always get the forstner end links.

Nope. According to Forstner, the end links do not fit on the new hesalite 3861 models. I can confirm that from my own experience. See this thread.

I have no idea why they continue to sell these end links for post-2021 watches, and claim that they fit on all 3861 Speedmaster except the the hesalite version.

So I asked my OB rep to get one for me. I could do the usual standard one from the sapphire 3861, but I have both versions of that and really like the flat link look for this. I'll deal with the end links, because I'm not going to use anything non-Omega on an 11k watch.

Unless they’ve changed their design recently, Forstner end links do fit the 3861 hesalite. Here they are fitted on my 3861 w/ A11 50th:

And here it is. I don't even notice the overhang of the lugs. But it's either too tight or too loose. If I put one link back in, it's too loose with the micro in, if I take it back out, it's too tight(just a bit) with the micro out.

Looks good. Perhaps with the Forstner endlinks the appearance of the endlinks will improve plus the small change on length might do the trick as well

Hey @bsowers34, Is the endlink overhang bothersome at all? I'm not sure if it would bother me or not. Otherwise it looks good. It seems many (most?) owners go for a SS bracelet on the Snoopy, but I'm one who thinks that the extra metal distracts too much from the dial and the back, but that's just me. It's all personal. Wear in good health.
