My first seamaster professional

hi everyone. I normally buy vintage watches but with winter coming and rain nearly everyday I thought I would buy a watch that would be fine getting wet. I decided on a seamaster professional without the wave dial. I love it but my only gripe is why can’t they put a micro adjuster on the strap as they have them on their speedmaster mark ii. I will be buying an isofrane strap for it as well but would like a vintage one off the original Ploprofs.

It’s easy to add the micro-adjust clasp to it - the part costs around $250 from an AD. There are several threads on here with the part number and details.

with that said, the micro-adjust clasp is thicker and longer, and you might prefer the original.

I’ve just ordered one from omega Regent street in London but the smaller clasp with just 3 adjustments for £87. They will not fit it but at least they ordered it as 3 other Omega boutiques would not even order it for me

That was quick!

Congrats on the purchase.

It takes up to 6 weeks to get it though. They wanted £190 for a ceramic pin buckle. That’s more than double the price of the micro clasp
