Here she is! And, man oh man, do I love her! Honestly, as some folks here may know, I was flirting with a 16013 with a Buckley dial, but, in the end, I felt the 16014 to be more versatile and simply more practical for everyday wear. I love the way this bezel plays with the light, the matching patina, and, of course, those open 6s and 9s! Ah, now, time to cap it off with a pizza. Have a good one, folks!!
Dude! Eyes on the road! Love those perfect little lemon pips. The DJ is about as classic as they come. Congrats...and stop playing with it, you’ll go blind.
So glad you’re happy. So now that you got that out of the way- how about that disco-fantastic blue baby! You know you want it.
Wow! It's spectacular. You couldn't have made a better choice for your first. I wish you many, many years of happy and healthy wearing
Congratulations! Perfect daily wearer. Amazing how good a 35-40 year old Rolex can be. Mine says hello.
Ha! Oh, lord. Honestly, it now feels like I dodged a serious bullet when I look at that and then look down at what is on my wrist now. Thank God M&B didn't accept any of my offers, which were quite high, too!
Beautiful watch, a choice you won’t regret. I got this 1984 16014 a few months ago and it’s hard to wear anything else since.
Yup- I had one...for a long time...then 2...yeah, they are like Martini’s, one isn’t enough, two is two many, three isn’t enough.....
Hahah! You guys are, as always, excessively correct on this account. Already I am wondering if maybe, just maybe, a Submariner is in my future. And this is after a Speedy purchase and a DJ purchase THIS YEAR! I am pushing the thought from my mind easily when it crops up, but the fact that it is already there is concerning....
