Hi all,

Up for sale today is a distinctive Movado from the 1940s - a stainless steel manually wound triple calendar with turtle lugs. While most triple calendars tend to have an interesting dial and this one is no exception, I do believe the star here is the case with those unmistakable lugs and lovely case lines with ridged sides. That said, this example also has a few other vintage characteristics that I personally find quite appealing.

- Wears well at 34mm w/o crown (many Movado calendars from this era were 32mm)
- Two tone dial with nice, even patina
- Red date pointer hand
- Blue colored dates on the circumference

Condition: This example is in overall decent vintage condition. The two tone dial has even and in my opinion attractive patina. The stainless steel case presents well with no noticeable dings or scratches with the exception of what appears to be a small gash in the case back (does not impact function however). Crown is unsigned which is consistent with other examples I see online. Watch was serviced in 2020 as per the previous owner. It winds smoothly and all functions work as expected.

Additional Information:
Size: 34mm without crown, 42mm lug to lug
Year: 1940s
Caliber: Manual wind, cal 475
Box/papers: No/No
Strap: Dark brown leather (bracelet is not included)

I’m asking $995 USD which will also include shipping within CONUS. Other countries at cost. Zelle, Transferwise or bank wire only. Watch and I are in the US and I can ship worldwide (with some exceptions).
