Really nice. I love those vintage movados. I think you you deserve a hand for going into detail about every issue even if it鈥檚 minor. Many sellers seem to brush those things a side. I guess I shouldn鈥檛 say many but I鈥檝e had it happen more than once. The few watches I鈥檝e sold I鈥檝e done the same thing or at least let them know when I鈥檓 contacted, I don鈥檛 wait for them to ask.

Thank you for your kind words @Walrus, very much appreciate it 馃憤

I've been disappointed in the past with a seller's optimistic description, so I don't want anyone to feel that I've misrepresented something I sell.

I should note the case needs a good cleaning but I'm not too confident in uncasing a chrono movement.

The lugs also have service numbers on them, which I think is interesting. The watchmaker didn't want to write on the inside of the case back, so chose to write on the lugs.

to me the entire watch appears to be "as-found" and the real deal. Not so easy to find sometimes as many sellers are too quick with the tube of metal polish and tooth brush.

Before I knew better, I ruined a few fountain pens over the years with aggressive cleaning.

Hi
What do you mean with this?

5. The case screw is missing

The caseback doesn't screw in the case?
Thanks

A case screw holds the movement against the inside of the case. You can see it in this picture (a different M90 watch) circled in red:

I sold a couple of watches so I'm going to reduce this Movado by 5% to $2470 CAD ($1920 USD) shipped. If it's still too high I'm open to offers.

An uncommon Movado column wheel chronograph from the 1940s priced under market value and still open to offers.

I was asked for a dial pic. While I had the movement out of the case I cleaned the case so it's not dirty anymore.
