Not a fake sale. I know the two high bidders, both serious collectors. The last few black 19008s have sold for 80k+. The main reason it didn’t go higher is because you couldn’t bid unless you were in France due to the sellers shipping restriction on the listing.

He cancelled the sale as I suspect he didn’t get what he wanted for it. I have found out who he is and it’s going to auction soon. A French dealer/auction consultant that does work for Joseph Bonnie. I also spoke with the two highest bidders and they were extremely disappointed with the way it went down on eBay.

 

Dont think seller was aware what he was selling untill he listed it on ebay. Curious what it will bring at a major auction
