I have a 19008 project to finish one day. If someone has some case parts to spare; don’t be shy. I got most but it will require a lot of TLC as it is today. One day though this one will shine again. 😀

That will not be an easy journey I think. I am almost done with my project (only hour and minute hand missing). However: the dial is the hardest part to find I think. Best bet will be to find a poorly redialled donor but even that will be a stretch. I have a spare two tone case 😗

I have all parts but the case has been butchered. 😀

How does the two-tone case look like?

What do you think about this M90?
What about it’s originality?
I’ve got more photos which I can upload when needed.

And what is your opinion on relume?
I am debating to have the hour and minute hands relumed. I think the hands look better with lume and it brings some color to this otherwise monochrome dial…

And what kind of strap should I add? I am using a Bulang & Sons Cordovan strap. But I am not happy with the sizing as the clasp is not in the middle when I wear it. The original Movado clasp doesn’t fit either.
I think I will ask Matteo Torre to create something bespoke…

I think it looks original to me apart from the hands, haven't seen these syringe type on an M90 before.

I agree there are examples out there with syringe shaped hands but not with hands of this exact shape that I have seen, Cosimos are thinner from what I can see, as are all the ones I’ve come across. That logo design (fedora hat) came in 1959 I believe and is much more common on the M95, not sure I’ve seen an M90 with a Fedora but I may be wrong.

Additionally I think they always had Movado written beneath if they had the Fedora hat too in all of the M95 that I’ve seen and read about.
