·Just got offered 5% from the local AD. Looks like I will be watch shopping in London. Or trying to get a better deal after the price increase.

·Honestly man there are plenty of brand new moon watches on this forum for sell with the 5 yr manufacturer warranty at a huge discount. Bought one from @demollo this year and HIGHLY recommend. No need to pay a premium at an OB if you’re still getting the manufacturer warranty.
I bought from Demollo as well earlier in the year. Got a ton of pictures and videos prior to purchasing so I got to inspect all parts of the watch even better than I would be able to at an AD. Came straight to my doorstep and cost me way less than the AD could ever do, even with discounts. Lost only 1 month off the warranty as the card was dated the month prior to when I received it.

Why not give Watches of Switzerland a call, nothing like chatting with a real person telling them you know you can get it vat free from them at Heathrow and you’d like to buy it now to save carting the enormous box it comes around. Worse that can happen is they say is “no, come to the airport”

Yes, I am going to give them a call tomorrow and call the closest Fraser Hart branch also.

Watches Of Switzerland had no interest in moving at all on the price. The only thing they would say is that Goldsmiths would price match a better deal

They were giving me 14% off a sedna/steel Aqua Terra on the phone yesterday. I don't see why they couldn't apply the discount onto the speedy pro. Its usually the smaller AD'S like Berry's or Pragnell which give good discounts in my experience.
Otherwise I've not seen anything above that with the exception of grey market or duty-free at the airport if you're flying within the EU, they do 17% off or so.

·best deal i've seen is 30% (a few times a year), but that's a national chain that requires membership, comparable to grey market.

·Question for those who frequent WoS (or any other in-airport AD) - If one were to contact them in advance regarding a particular reference, do they take requests and could they have it available for a specific departure date/time? Maybe not specifically to hold it, but at least attempt to have stock on hand?

Fraser Hart in Plymouth. Gave them a call before hand and said I would drive over today if he could give me a good deal. He was hesitant to give a price over the phone but ensured me he would do me a good deal. Arrived and he gave me his best offer and we shook hands.
