Modern 321 Movement puzzle! 321 or 321B

Hi everyone, I recently got the call and picked up my 321, it’s a lovely watch and I couldn’t be happier with it.

Now I have a mystery for everyone. On my pictograms the card says ‘Calibre N° 321’… however a friend of mine has the same watch, dated 2022 instead of my recent 2023 acquisition and his says ‘Calibre N° 321B’.

Anyone know the difference between the two? Both watches are the same reference - 311.30.40.30.01.001

Any other modern 321 owners here that can check their pictograms?

I believe all of the new 321s are designated 'B' which is the second generation version of the original design, so it's just the Pictogram card that has been changed. No change in the movement. But other people will chime in.

Just checked my card for watch sold 1/2021 and it says "Cal No. 321"

So you think they’ve simply updated the pictograms cards for newer models and removed the ‘B’.

The movements are the same, they are all officially '321B' but are just talked about as a '321', no one uses the 'B' designation. Omega is just inconsistent on the Pictogram cards. My 2021 321 says '321', your buddy's 2022 says '321B', your 2023 says '321'. The '321B' designation is an outlier. Don't fret about it, they are all the same.
