I guess I should point out I am do magic as a hobby and I’m a mod on a magic forum. Myself and most of the other mods are ridiculous

An interesting guy you are.

I did magic and ventriloquism semi-professionally for years, I would point out, however, that if you’re trying to compare “watch-forum ridiculous” to “magic-forum ridiculous,” I’m afraid there just ain’t no comparison. The people in the magic world I’ve met and dealt with over the years are probably the most eccentric group of people you could imagine.

I should get an award for reading all 8 pages of this thread.

Amusing how it digressed several times, but always came back to the original topic.

I'm confused though: it appears that the OP was claiming to want to only get some new hands, but yet the quote of his post seems to imply that he wants to trade watches (with appropriate hands). That's not quite the same, is it?

Anyway...

Years ago, my wood working shop was broken-into and many power tools were stolen. I was chatting with the police officer who took the report, and he was lamenting how his job did not turn out like he thought it would. Just taking reports, mostly, no chance to really chase down the bad guys. I live in a rather upscale town, so most of our crime is property crime.

I told him that I had great respect for his profession, as I could never do it. The first time someone back talked me with some attitude, I'd probably attitude all over his head with my nightstick, and then I'd likely be looking for a new job soon.

Not that I'm a violent person, I just have a low threshold for stupid.

Which is why I'm not a forum moderator. I'd ban all of you. LOL

Can you imagine how unreadable it would have been if Moses had ranted on like you, from Genesis through to Deuteronomy! No paragraphs, chapters, verses or fakk all?
