Raising this thread from the dead. Is this possible for Speedy Reduced 3539.50? 18mm Bracelet 1471/815.

Parts numbers would be awesome.

Thanks!
As I recall, no. The clasp itself is 18mm inside.

However, a more modern bracelet might fit?

Ok this confuses me because the 1471/815 bracelet is 18mm non-tapered. Thoughts?

Also, great suggestion on an alternate bracelet. The Seamaster bracelet 1612/932 is known to fit the Speedy Reduced 3539.50 and that bracelet is good with the 4666 clasp.

Ah, I had assumed the older ones were 18/16. Glad you found an alternate you like.

I’ve added the micro clasp to my Speedy Pro and 300mc. They make a lot of difference, I highly recommend them.

Especially the six-position clasps!

I don't think the overhang of the clasp would work for me - don't have am issue yet with lack of microadjustments. Good info all, thanks...

Hi there,

I have the Ti 1151 clasp, but am still at a loss as to the Titanium equivalent of the 118ST1589 links (and pins and screws) for my 3rd Gen X-33 bracelet. The Ti bracelet is the same size and style as the Speedy bracelet, just not in steel.

For instance, I am using the 1154 clasp and 118ST1589 links on my Speedmaster Pro 3570.50, and the X-33 bracelet looks the same except for the materials used (the 1189 links also work with a 1610/930 bracelet for a 2254.50, and on the 42mm Planet Ocean 2500 2201.50 bracelet - been there done that). I just can't find the Titanium parts numbers.

So, does anyone know the part numbers for the Titanium links to connect the Titanium 1151 clasp to a Speedmaster style bracelet, with the corresponding pins and screws?

I do NOT wish to use the steel 1589 links with it's pins and screws for my Ti clasp.

THANKS!

@larryganz

That's exactly the information that I'd like to know, too: if I should purchase an X-33 Skywalker, what exactly I would need to have a micro-adjusting clasp; from 2019 I'm a proud owner of a Seamaster 300m and I use the micro-adjusting clasp at least twice every day, so I already know that I can't live without it.
Did you find the solution to your own question?
Thanks.

I researched years ago putting an adjustable clasp on old ref. 2298.80 Seamaster Chronograph Titanium with a titanium ref. 1504/826Ti bracelet. It was not fruitful.

I determined the following was required:

P/N 117TIZ004664 - titanium version of 6-position steel 117STZ001154
P/N 117TIZ001159 - titanium version of w/diver's extension steel 117STZ001159
Smaller/shorter 2-4mm (3-position) micro-adjustable steel 117STZ004666 does not seem to be available in titanium
P/N 124TI3307 titanium screws, and
P/N 128ST0166 steel pins

Conspicuously missing are the clasp links. The reason is that they don't exist for the "Bond" bracelet. My research also concluded that titanium clasp links for the "Speedmaster style" Ti bracelet affixed to the ref. 2232.80 Seamaster Titanium "Electric Blue" are also nonexistent.

This info may.have changed as it was over five years ago. The only hint of a part that I ever found was P/N 118TI1515 for the titanium "Bond" bracelet but it is not in the catalog.

I know this is a pretty old thread and I apologize if we aren't supposed to bring these back up. I would like to add this functionality to my watch but I am a little confused on what parts to order.

I have a 2551.80 which has a 1502/824 bracelet on it, according to what I have read I need the following parts:

117STZ00154, 2x 118ST1515 end links, 4x 3307 screws, 2x 0166 pins.

Can anyone with experience confirm, it is a bit of a drive to my local OB and I would like to make sure I am ordering the correct parts.

Think that is correct. You can use various clasps, 1154 has 6 adjustable positions. You may also use the smaller 4666 clasp with 3 positions or the bigger 1159 with 6 positions plus the diver extension

Just to let you know, Omega and boutiques now refuse to send these parts to your boutique if your watch did not originally come with it. Really terrible experience with their customer service.

I called up my local boutique (in Bellevue, WA) and had no problem ordering them about a week ago.

You are very lucky. This is the reply I got directly from Omega:

"We are unable to order spare parts and send them directly to clients, we are only able to deliver parts to our authorised accounts.

As mentioned before, we are only able to replace components with like for like and do not recommend replacing with alternative items.

Best regards,
Your OMEGA Team"

I had originally called the Omega Customer service line in Seattle and they told me the same thing. Once I called the boutique there were no issues. If you have a boutique in your area you should reach out to them.

You got an answer from Omega, the company, and this is a pretty well known policy. Omega doesn't sell ANY parts to individuals or to those without a parts account. They themselves won't honor requests to modify a watch except under specific conditions.

The Omega Boutiques and authorized dealers can order any bracelet or straps or parts for them your heart desires, if they want to. They're likely to install them for you, too. Some just won't but don't confuse Omega policies to those of all OBs or ADs. In this case, they're different.
