image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Just wanted to share for any of you that would like to modify your clasp for either the new 300m, old 300m or moon watch. I've attached some images of the old 300 bracelet with new micro adjusting clasp as well as a new moon watch with clasp installed. There's a little more to it than just getting the clasp but "all in" the conversion is under $300. Well worth it IMHO
Happy Wednesday to everybody and have a great week!!!

Wow! Any details about how I can do this myself would be greatly appreciated! Were you able to buy just the clasp, and if so what is the part number?

I think this will involve clasp and end links so please OP can You supply the part no. For those parts. So everyone can follow Your mod and will have no problem with this half link full link issue that never fits right anyway once Your wrist changes in size.

This is the one from the seamaster. The number ending with 824 is not the same number, but I forget which one that is.

Edit: the 824 is the 18mm endlink and the 54 is 20mm. The 54 is meant for the po chrons which is a 22mm->20mm taper, The smpc is a no tapering bracelet thus it will fit too.

Just a little lost here as Buchmann69 from WUS fitted this clasp shown on the picture above which ends in 154 into a 1610/930 speedy style bracelet of 2254. This 1610 bracelet tapers to 18mm so I'm not sure now about this 2 different clasp that You mentioned.

    824 for 18mm
    154 for 20mm

When it clearly shows on the thread that Buchmann69 uses the 154 for both His PO 2500 and 2254 Seamaster.

I'm not creating an argument, I just want definite answers since Bachmann69 back up His modifications with lots of pictures and also included a part no. Invoice to show everyone what is needed.

Did he also purchase two links?

    Edit:

Ah yes he did! He specifically says this was needed for the 2254.

OB or AD is Your best bet Mate. Have You ask them? It's even cheaper from them than any other retailers.

Yeah, call the OB. I was told they had a single clasp in NJ and the end links weren't available anywhere but Geneva, so he placed an order for everything to be shipped. I was told about a month. I hope it's sooner

There is a lot of interest in the micro adjustable clasp. The nearest Boutique is 5 hours from where I Iive. Has anyone had good luck in calling them to place an order? I would like to order the clasp and endlinks needed for a new Speedy. Based on the couple of times I've been in Boutiques, they don't seem very knowledgeable, particularly if you don't know the part numbers..

Yes, You really need to have the part no. before You can order those parts. Sadly the OP hasn't shared until now. Maybe He is very busy atm, lets just hope that it will be share eventually.
