Dear all,

I can get a pretty good deal on this watch. I know the condition is far from the best, but I would really appreciate on expert feedback.
Seller has already mentioned that crown and pushers are not original, however he has the original included in the sale.

Short details: ref. 105.012-65 incl. extract of archive from Omega

I find it a bit strange that there's still some lume left on a watch from '65 - I guess it has been relumed at some point ?

Is it too bad or is there anything I should be especially worried about ?

Thank you in advance.

why should the lume not been left?

the partiell left lume on some the indices i personally don't like

it looks a bid like washed away - not relumed

the bezel condition also is not so good, but DON

i see no red flags

generelly no bad watch - caseback we can not see

it depends on, what you search and hat you can/want to pay

You did not provide pictures that allow evaluation of the case. For the photos you did provide, I don't think it would give me much pleasure, but if you like the watch, I don't see any major dealbreaker, if the price is very low.

The photos of the case are helpful, but they don't make me like the watch any more. It's not a collector-grade watch, clearly, and not a watch that would be easy to sell if you wanted to upgrade. It's a watch to buy if (1) it truly appeals to you personally, and (2) your budget doesn't allow you to buy a better example. I would not suggest buying this watch with the intent of upgrading with a better bezel, etc. No part of this watch is in good enough condition to serve as a basis for restoration. To me, it's rough and unappealing across the board.

if the watch generelly is ok for you, the bezel-change would improve the look
mostly - 500 Euro for the price-difference

You have not shared the asking price- which would help with assessment

Case is very worn, fair condition at best. Scratch marks on caseback
Bezel worn, Fair
Dial missing lume on several indices, fair
Replaced pushers- an issue with this reference as one of the appealing features are the original short fat pushers
Movement correct serial number range for reference, but it looks like it has been treated roughly with lots of damaged screws suggesting amateur or careless past service
I agree with @Dan S assessment that no good basis for restoration.

Not having the short and fat pushers is a major deal breaker to me. It's also not a great example overall as many have said.

I would personally buy a better example of a reference that typically is priced lower (ex. 145.012, 145.022-69).

Not a bad watch the bezel has seen a lot of action but the dial is pretty clean and the case is not overpolished. At the end of the day it is a matter of price. What's awatch like this worth nowadays? $5000?

the original pushers and crown is included in the deal, they are just not installed on the watch as of now.

fair example of this reference 3500 by Speedmaster101 price chart.

This watch is at best fair condition. So asking price is about twice that.

Don’t rush save your money for a watch you won’t regret
Find a nice 145.022 -69 as suggested above. Plenty out there and it’s buyers market
