·maybe i was a little optimistic and too positive. Just made a set to spec (a little bigger to cater for thinner pusher covers) and it took longer than expected. I will honor my promise and make up sets for the price of shipping for all that have sent messages to 06:00 AM UK time, but that will be it. I don't want to be machining and turning for the next couple of years ... !

There will be a brief moratorium on order filling until he get the pieces tested and fettled.
There will be a fee of US$ 20 to cover postage and aggravation on his part per pair.
Please PM me if you want a pair (limit one pair per order) with the subject line "ORDER: Space Compax pushers"
When he is ready to manufacture your pieces, I will reply with the pay-to email address (PayPal works), you will pay the man, and shortly afterwards get your pushers.
As a footnote, I point out that the thread contains the required dimensions - your own watchmaker will probably be able to turn these out using them, and it may proove faster to go that route.
As another footnote, remember Diabilik is doing this out of kindness and generosity - please be patient and understanding.

··Mrs Nataf's Other SonOK, had a go with Diabolik's creation on my Space Compax - works very well and I'd say even better than the original. Because it's solid rather than hollow, it supports the rubber cap better and gives a better feel to pusher activation.
Overall a big win - one small bit of aluminum, one large step for Space Compax fans.

I bought a couple of the "nipples" from Ebay looked good but one dropped out in 10 mins of wearing the watch but I managed to find it . I got my watchmaker to refix both nipples with glue but that lasted another 10 mins. I think the issue is that the "sleeve" thickness of the nipple is not thick enough to be clasped between the screw down cover/bezel and the inner pusher tube ie the nipple is not locked in position. Frankly $200 was a very expensive but worth it for a 10k watch IF they worked . I also think the new ones are silicone rather than rubber which may not help so if the member making them ( I might have a go ) has had better luck please let me know.

·Thanks for the tip. As a lover of the Space-Compax (I own each model), I will be interested in hearing what you work out. I am fortunate to have what appear to be original rubber caps on both of mine but they will not last forever, so replacements will be needed eventually.

·Ive been offered a new cap so await. I suspect however I will need to make up a thing spacer so the cup is "pinched" and stays in position.
