Hello,

I am slowly getting addicted to vintages watches, after few months I got some Glashütte and an Omega.

Now I am looking at the catalogue of a local auction that will happen soon.

And I found 2 interesting omega :

A first in great shape, that looks original, a 168.016 (from my guess) with 751 movement (confirmed by seller)

So my only question : Does the dial look original ? (to me, yes)

And the second watch more troublesome, not in a great shape :
An old Geneve, 266 movement ??

The case looks overpolished, I don't have more pictures for this one...
But it still looks really charming 😀 ... tempting...

The constellation dial looks good. You should get pics from the movement, to see the condition. The genève's dial is in poor condition. Those are very nice, but I would wait for a better specimen. I any case if the price is right and you like it, go for it. Just try to make sure the miovement is correct, works and has no apparent problems.

Both dials appear to be original.

Make sure to try and see the movement(s) before you bid!

Both have issues
1st one looks like a redial to me: font of 'Constellation' seems off (esp the 's' and end 'n'), MOY-test not working out. Might be the angle of the pic, but I would vote against it
2nd one has a 'washed' dial, all but removing the font and the cross-hair altogether.

Beware. Ask for pics of backside, inside and high res pics without the hands obscuring the fonts. Not sure of the crowns, nor the quality of the cases.
