Looking for advice on a generic 711 de ville

Gday mates, I am hesitating on whether or not to go through with this purchase, I have won the auction and it will be 700 CAD after tax. There's nothing wrong or modified with the watch except for the strap (buckle is original). However I am seeking advice on whether or not the patina on dial is desireable. Thank you for your input ahead of time.

Mold and water damage are generally not desirable.

Respectfully, you should have asked before winning the auction. It is totally unethical and inappropriate to renege on a deal after winning an auction.
