Looking for a Speedmaster 145.022 Caseback

Hi all,

My lovely speedmaster from May 1974 (according to the speedy dating site) has an ADB service caseback.

I am looking for a replacement vintage one, what years would be acceptable? 73/74/75?

Does anyone know of any going or is it literally just a eBay waiting game?

Hi Tom, the inside caseback ref nr then should be 145.022 -71 or 145.022 - 74 if you want it to be more period correct. A 76 could also fit if you check your movement number via ilovemyspeedmaster.com .
These do not come up for sale often so an Ebay search alerts waiting game. You can also check the listings here in the sales section. There is one 71 listed from the US on ebay, https://www.ebay.nl/itm/167529827324? caseback 71
Caseback and case back give different results, as well as with or without the dot in 145.022

Movement number brings up both 71 and 74 Casebacks so thanks very much I'll take a look at the 71 one
