Longines "crap" or worth a shot ?

Hi guys,
I stumbled upon yesterday a small shop with these watches from last century.
Although the dial went off for the tank, the case caught my eye (and I do think it's a Longines, but no so sure...). As for the second, apart from a redone logo in my opinion, is it interesting for a military Longines? So basically, I'm wondering if these two are worth a penny, as they still are a bit charming in my eyes, or if there's nothing to see there.

Cheers !

IMO, if they're inexpensive, they'd both be worth a punt. I don't know if the gold tank is a Longines case, but if so, it would be very unusual, and I would say desirable. The other, while likely small-ish, is a desirable "stepped", "tre tacche" case, though the scratches do diminish the value somewhat. FYI it isn't a military watch, though the dial design is often referred to as military "style".

My bad, I forgot the prices : 300$ for the first and 480$ the other one. A bit pricey I think. The gold one would be a french case as there is an eagle's head mark.
Thank you for the precision on the "tre tacche", I didn't know that !

Thanks. Yes, a French case, but assuming that it is a correct match for the (presumably Longines) movement, I would say well worth $300. Yes, it would be a project, but with a well restored dial and appropriate hands, it would be a very nice watch.
