Is this vintage 18ct solid gold Genéve Crossdial worth it or even a fake?

    Hello,
I stumbled upon this Omega Genéve from 1968 and thought: "Wow, this is beautiful", and then I saw that it was solid 18ct gold, and that really caught my attention because it was only listed at $770.

But is a watch like that even worth that much, and is the gold in the watch worth that much? Or is it too good to be true? I'm not that good at vintage watches, so I thought I'd ask a bunch of experts here on this site:)

    Thanks!
    - Niklas

What makes you think it may be fake?

It's a genuine and unremarkable 18K gold Omega with a less than perfect dial. No the gold is not worth that much.

So you’d say, it’s not worth the $770?
