Literature recommendations on vintage watch collecting in ENG or GER?

Hello OF users,
since I am very new i was wondering if the experienced users here have any recommendations about some literature that you see as a must read or you consider to be very helpful for vintage watch collecting.

If there are any German speaking users I would be esepcially happy for some recommendations.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Omega of course but i was wondering if there is some non-brand-sepcific literature out there that is useful.
I like Eterna watches as well for example but am really just starting to explore this very big world ....

You'll find many worthwhile books just with a little digging on your own. But don't forget to look for current and past auction catalogs--they can be a wealth of information too.
