I recently picked up my first Tri, a 22297/3. I went back and forth for quite a while before pulling the trigger, and in the end I am so happy that I did. A really lovely design! Viva UG!

Good to know! I tend to fall in love with these and, while I have sold one or two over the years (both times to members here!), I generally have a very hard time parting with these beauties. Matt, on the other hand, is much better at continually evaluating and upgrading his pieces. He’s probably SOLD more Tri over the years than are included in the picture, which blows my mind. But he’s got some awesome pieces to show for it. Evil Clapton, Exotic and those solid gold pump-pusher examples! 👍👍👍
Anyway, stay tuned - ya never know! (oh, and what’s your name on Instagram?)

@watcheswithfizz

Small world because I've interacted with many of you there.

That is a crazy good dial! I'm looking for one at moment but none of them are below 10k USD....

These have been high for quite a while. Pretty rare.

Understood....so 10k for a dial in similar condition to the one above is not unrealistic in 2022 I guess?

I love the font and radial arrangement plus delicate printing of the numerals on these references.

@Larry S , I guess the market says we are at or above 10kUSD, now

@Ted1858 👍 nice example.

Emphasis on the "or more" part of Larry's post 😉. Can't speak for others, but that's what this 22297/3 in this condition was worth to me.

There seem to be more of the /2 variant out there, but could just be recency bias of my search.

Tex- here’s my best attempt with iPhone camera! I find that the lighting in my car on the way to work in the mornings is the best that I can do.

Love those applied numerals. Great condition!!
Thanks! Yes, very “Patek 1518-ish” right? 😉 I love the look as well.
