I sometimes wonder if some of us has issues with wearing a non-incabloc watch in daily use? My watchmaker says some of the balances even risk damage in mail.

It is very unusual to really broke the balance staff even without incabloc. The watches have been made without it for 100 years and it was not that much of a problem. I wear many watches without incabloc and no problem at all. I believe it must fall in a really unhappy way. Like certain postition. So it is rare.

Found a spider lug ref. 2605 cal. 265.
Very comfortable to wear due to the low-placed spring bars. And a simple beauty if you ask me 🥰

Here is my 2640-6. The dial is not the cleanest I've seen but at least it is not a redial. The glass is a new genuine Omega one.

Here is my new acquisition, a Ref. 2537-9. Screw-down, but with some baroque decoration on the sides. On the dial a detail never seen by me before: Two small "T" at 9 o'clock.
