If I remember correct, the world precision record was obtained with a 30t2 rg aka chronomètre. It is the first time I see this box, nice find.
Funny, I pointed that out to the seller. He seemed to be aware of what previous examples went for including recently one with insert and felt. I said it was only worth 300euro. His reply, 'thanks for the info, I am open to offers'. I am tempted but without the insert I think I'll wait for the whole thing.
I can´t agree on that. Chronometre boxes are very different! This box reminds me of the boxes sold with watches to South American countries.
I only said that the world precision record was obtained with a 30t2 rg, not that the box is for a 30t2 rg. As I said, I have never seen this box.
Here's a pic of my Speedy Gonzlaes presentation box from the inside of the box with the lid fully closed (first pic). For the record, I placed the phone camera (utilizing the timer and flash functions) in the accessory bin facing forward to where the presentation box opens...and as you can see from the first pic, the lid is fully closed. What's the point? It's a big ass box (second pic)...so big that you can put a camera phone in it...and take a pic with the lid fully closed.
Oh, she's home...but she's leaving me alone and not saying anything...probably because I did I all my chores today...which allows me to dork around with stuff in peace...which is in my contract that I negotiated over 20 years ago.
I took the liberty to link this thread to a wonderfull thread about the Jetzler silver box. https://omegaforums.net/threads/jezler-omega-silver-box-a-case-study.25020/#post-409116
Not a great picture but I had some unwanted help setting up the display. Here are some Jezler boxes (annoying cat sold separately).
