Not a late night buy but early morning about 4:30am.

Saw this eBay sale listing with a $650 BIN price with a zero feedback seller. Obviously the seller didn’t know what he had.

Turned out to be a beautiful -78!! Sent off for a service and now it’s my favorite daily wearer.

Turned out to be a beautiful -78!! Sent off for a service and now it’s my favorite daily wearer.

What kind of bracelet was on it? The center links look odd.

Two nights ago this one (not having fulfilled the condition no. 5, above) 😁 . I should quit looking at eBay, I could not resist (once again). The Universal microrotor is second to none, compared with contemporary calibres and nicely decorated additionally. And just look at this microregulator.

I suppose that it will arive somewhen in January. At least there is no customs issue, since it comes from Italy.

Conditions 1 to 3 met, 4 still to come.

Not sure if this one qualifies entirely, as it went on over multiple nights. Saw it, expressed interest and asked for more pics - then it was sold. A few nights later the seller got back to me and said the deal fell through, so here I am now, waiting for it. Will be delivered to me by a buddy in January, can’t wait:

Had eyed this for a week and let the auction go with no bidders. After a friend's Christmas party where much wine and bourbon was consumed, I tossed in a bid. Auction result still pending

The bracelet was a cheap non Omega aftermarket bracelet.

Seems to have gone ok, the seller was a real Chad and threw in a bunch of straps to make up for it.




Really, this box is awesome and I love the projects and straps added in for good measure. Totally unexpected.
