Morning everyone! Welcome to Episode 22 of the Time 4A Pint Podcast - for this week's show, we grabbed a couple of late night drinks in London, with @Robert-Jan , founder of Fratello Watches, and the man behind the #SpeedyTuesday phenomenon. We talked about the story behind Fratello Watches, found out where Robert-Jan's love for Omega watches comes from, and of course, discussed the Limited Edition Omega Speedmaster Professional Speedy Tuesday. I got to try on that AP 15202 of his in person, made me totally fall in love with that reference the bracelet is so beautifully made and delicately finished yet still strong and the case and rotor... just everything about that watch I love
Great podcasts Chris.Always listen to you and your guests. You should do a documentary on all thinks watches.
Ah good! A precedent for Dutch people on your show. Now I feel less hesitant about inviting myself in the future for a talk about the psychology of why we always seem to like the same damn watches Oh, and I've said this before but I'll say it again: aside from your fun style of presentation and knowledge of the subject matter, you really do have a great voice for this. Keep up the excellent work!
Ahh you'd be very welcome! Would you say "Gold" as much as Robert-Jan? I was starting to get this image in my head Thank you so much! You may retract that statement in a few weeks time when episode 24 comes out... it was recorded this week whilst both my guest and I are fighting colds... a little nasal
Quick note to say, that after joking about editing stuff out... 6 minutes got edited out by accident. For anyone who wondered what's missing, there's now an extra 6 minutes from 49:55 onwards around the Seamaster Chronograph, including what it means to RJ... @Bill Sohne also gets an honourable mention!
Lots of lovely feedback on this one, including from the man himself: https://www.fratellowatches.com/time-4a-pint-podcast/
