Ending the year with a no-date big triangle is not bad !
Does somebody know why the indexes are green ? This is not the first one I see with this kind of patina (military versions for example).
I have relumed the hands (tritium was damaged).

What a peach.
This lime green smooth type of lume seems to be specific to these 69/70 BT examples, as you say, many of them military issue.
No idea why, probably just the type of tritium mix used by a particular dial manufacturer at a particular time.
In my experience the hand lume nearly always is a mismatch on these, in a mustard colour and much more grainy in texture.
Here’s mine;

Can I say looks like it’s a service dial?
You can say what you like.

1. You don’t get BT service dials
2. Service dials are not marked for Tritium

Can I say you don’t know what you’re talking about?

Very nice find indeed. I can understand why anyone who’s not to familiar with that specific model thinks it’s a service dial. It obviously isn’t but the texture of the lume and the overall condition of the dial don’t look to be from ~69. So again huge congrats they don’t come very often as beautiful as that.
