I saw this one for cheap today on eBay been wanting to try a vintage Wyler diver since some sell for a fair price. Saw this one for starting price 200 and buy now for 300 with three watching on eBay. This model I have not seen just the ones that sort of look like a vintage Rolex Explorer but this one the dial looks like a Omega 300 with a different style bezel ring. I said screw it lost one last week in a bidding war 300 is cheap. I guess a service and that strap has to go and replaces with a tropic strap. Hoping the lume is in better shape hope the seller just takes crappy photo's.

I have a love for these 660’s. Wyler did a few dial and different bezel combos on different models.

Same as your case and bezel

Diver bezel

Same dial as yours with merc hands

You could spend a lifetime trying to track down all the variants.

Mine is one of my Covid Lockdown specials, with a radium dial.

I was lucky enough to find one in good cosmetic shape, but in definite need of a service. I sent it out to the watchmaker and it came back running beautifully.

It's here I had a tropic strap waiting for it. Just ordered a crystal for it today so when I get it serviced that gets replaced.

Nice! What’s wrong with the crystal? And where did you get the crystal from? Wyler crystals are proprietary, case model dependent and long NLA so if you have source you want to share- please do!

I figure since the crystal has to be removed to get to the movement for service the old one mite not secure as good as before being old and brittle. So mite as well put a new one on.

Great watches, these old Wyler HD's - a collector friend of mine out in Colorado has 5 or 6 of them now IIRC! 😀

Enjoy!

Just service with a new crystal. Thought the bezel ring was glued it did not move. But must of been stuck because my watchmaker got it working so it now rotates.

Did the bezel used to have additional markings or was it always just the four points?

4 points- 3 black dots and red triangle at 4. Usually the paint is gone so nice to see it here
