As someone who recently got into ‘Connies’, I would suggest you look at the show and tell thread and decide which one appeals to you the most.
For me - it was the classic 167.005 which I was able to find a good example of recently, although it’s now opened up a rabbit hole and I need more!
It's all a matter of personal taste. Most people like the pie-pan dials, but I prefer the cross-hair dome dials. I also dislike dog-leg lugs and I prefer stainless to gold.
but more importantly pictures are coveted.

Whilst liking pie pans - I too reside firmly in the dome dial camp.
This has already been said, but don’t neglect the dome dialed references from consideration. They are lovely watches, some with very unique styling, and usually sell for less than their pie pan cousins. One of my favorites is the “hidden crown” 168.004.
Similar but different enough. 14k gold with a piepan with a somewhat more "restrained" piepan dial. Dial reminds me a bit of the modern globemaster in aesthetic.
