Just a quick question about speedy straight lugs...

Hey OF,
So today I was setting the time on my straight lug speedy by pulling out the crown. When I pushed the crown back in, I noticed doing so slightly moved the whole dial+movement assembly to the left! Is this normal, have others have had the same experience? I suspect I'm just being overly concerned...

Usually the dustcover/anti magnetic cover on the movement should be pressed down by the caseback which keeps the movement firmly in place. You might have a wrong dustcover on the 321 or is your caseback loosely mounted? And it should concern you 馃榾

Sounds like the screws securing your movement to the holder/ring might be loose or missing. Might be worth having your watchmaker take a look at it.

I assume there should be two of them present!

Thank you! I guess it is something I should check out. For once my overly excessive worrying has actually worked out in my favor.
