I’m very impressed with Tavannes Cyma calibre 586. The finishes are fantastic and the large movement diameter makes for big watches!

I just serviced one and made a little service vid

This week I will put together a movement review, if anyone has a 586 please share as it would be great to see different variations of this fantastic movement 👍

Another Cyma 586k and 586 the dials of these Cyma’s are stunning !

Cyma 586 K as a Chronometer was sold at an Auktion at Henry’s !

Did Cyma produce jumbo watches in steel? Putting a nice movement and a beautiful dial in a plated case feels wrong...

Never saw a Cyma 586 K in SS in Chrome yes at that time in the 40 - and 50 ‘s SS cases where very expensive to make only a few watchmakers produced SS cases but still rare !

Nothing wrong with plates cases😉 But there is also solid gold ones..

Probably same base movement, I know there where some variations. Do you have a movement photo? Fantastic watch👍
