·I can only speak for my former workplace, but during lunch we were free to use the internet for non-work purposes. Of course there were limits regarding the type of sites we could use, but a watch forum would not be any violation of the rules.
Just a further thought . . .
And having arrived at a watch forum, perhaps you may say to yourself:
"I had better not click on the "Tell me a Joke," thread while I 'm here at work. I'll save that for when I get home. Ah, here's a thread where a guy wants to know what tools he'd need to replace a compression fit crystal. That's the ticket!"
And again, I'll happily follow the rules of a privately owned sight where I appreciate that I have been granted the privilege of asking questions and sharing my thoughts respectfully with other like-minded people . . .and where I may learn from those who know more than I do and where I may occasionally help others.
I do I hope I am not digging a hole for myself?
